  Surface Inspector Features:

Low angle led light from the ring light enhances nicks, scratches, edges, indented or embossed features on flat surfaces and creates contrast between reflective and non reflective areas of the surface. Magnifying power of the lens lets you detect even minute imperfections of the inspected surface. High intensity, diffuse, uniform low angle illumination. Washable led lights, suitable for industrial environment. Embedded electronics (no external controller required). Adjustable intensity. Extremely low heat dissipation. 12 volt models come with "banana plug" socket and 110 VAC to 12 VDC converter. 24 volt models come with "piggy tail" shielded cable and strain relief or with sealed receptacle and detachable cordset. 		  Surface Inspector
 
 
Darkfield Illumination:

In darkfield illumination, low angle led light rays are almost parallel to the inspected surface or object. When the surface is uniform and flat, there is nothing to diffract, refract or reflect the light rays toward the observer, so the surface appears dark or uniformly illuminated. Any imperfection, defect or aberration of this otherwise flat and smooth surface will result in forming brighter or darker images superimposed onto this uniform background. 		  Darkfield Illumination
