Line Scan and Area Scan Lights - LSL Series
Embedded electronics. Adjustable intensity. Visible spectrum, UV, IR
|
|
|
Line Scan and Area Scan Lights Features:
Projected beam width from 4 to 10 mm @ 50 mm distance. Visible spectrum, UV and IR. We use several different types of internal diffusers and collimating rod lenses to maximize the
illuminance at the specified working distance, and to achieve the required width of the illuminated area. Lengths from 3" to 48" in 3" increments.
Extremely low heat dissipation. All line scan and area scan lights have embedded electronics (no controller required). Threaded 1/4-20 mounting holes on the back.
Line Scan and Area Scan Lights in Machine Vision Lighting and Visual Inspection:
Web inspection and imaging, barcodes readers, printed circuit board inspection, surface inspection and imaging, surface defects detection,
optical character recognition, print quality verification, laser etched symbols recognition. Our line scan and area scan lights are
fully sealed and washable, suitable for machine vision lighting in clean room, semiconductor, pharmaceutical and food processing applications.

Line Scan and Area Scan Illumination:
When inspecting or imaging highly reflective surfaces, or non-glossy (diffuse) surfaces covered or wrapped in transparent reflective foil, position the line scan light
at an angle to the target so the the specular reflections are directed away from the camera or the observer.
Line scan lights feature highly collimated beam of light, and are mainly intended for line scan imaging, but with four different
types of lenses and four different internal diffusers we use, we can configure the optical part of the line scan light to project a wider beam
of light at the specified working distance. To illuminate larger areas in machine vision lighting or inspection applications, consider using
Diffuse Linear Lights  or  Broad Area Flood
Lights.
